My paintings are very happy and colorful. They like to show off their colors in contrasting and sometimes intense ways.

I try to achieve a careful balance with shapes and colors. The textures that I create in my paintings, using my own fingers, palette knives and chopsticks both cover and then reveal the many layers that make my paintings tell many stories.

I think that combining these techniques with my own visual and emotional memories makes my paintings show happiness and silliness all together.

When I discuss my work with people, I always end up smiling.
