I always had a passion for art. It was always my favorite class in grade school and, when I got an extra elective, it was in high school, too.

My parents were very much against art as a major when I went to college, so I took it as a minor instead while majoring in accounting at Texas Tech University (I had been good in math.). While in Lubbock, Texas, I also picked up the skill of china painting from a favorite aunt.

After 10 years in oil and gas accounting in Midland, Texas (and painting watercolors every chance I got), I attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and received a BFA in painting.

For the last four years I have been fortunate enough to pursue my love for art full time and synthesizing my china painting skills with original porcelain work, something I've been wanting to do for 20 years.

I absolutely love it and want very much to do consignments and works on a large scale.
