I believe that a work of art should be interpreted and evaluated by the individual viewer according to how he or she is affected by it.

The viewer should not be influenced by the artist's statement.

It is my hope, however, that my work reflect simplicity.

I find that absence of excessive embelishment allows us to probe deeper into the essence of human nature and life, and come closer, therefore, to the genuine.
