Eligibility
This exhibition showcases work by women artists residing in the eastern half of the state of Texas.

 It is open to artists living within 250 miles of Houston.

 Original works are eligible; works created in art classes, or reproductions of original work, are not eligible.

Works that are not stable enough to endure exhibit will be disqualified. 

Works that are not ready to be handled -- for example, works with wet paint -- are not eligible.

 All work must be ready to install upon delivery.

 

Entries
Entry fee: $10.00 for a maximum of three original works completed within the last two years.

 Works in all media are eligible.

 Maximum size should not exceed 36" H and 24"W and must be easily transported by one person.

Fragile works such as drawings or photographs must be framed or securely mounted under glass/plexiglas.

Please keep in mind that this is a public library frequented by children. The Houston Public Library reserves the right to accept or deny work.

 

Calendar
Work must be hand delivered Saturday, October 28
between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

 Opening reception
November 1, 5 - 8 p.m.

 All work must be picked up Thursday, November 30
between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
